Since the early 80's several of our group employees have been involved in the recovery
of vehicles and most have a history of employment with the South African Police Services. Combining that knowledge and expertise is the result of our professionalism in this field. Since 1989, before tracking systems were introduced to the South African market we had been running an independent vehicle recovery and anti-hijacking company. At that stage we were concentrating in the former Transkei and Ciskei. We managed to RUN at a 75% success rate without the technology that is available today.Our success was due to many hours spent establishing a network of investigators and informers throughout the country. Today we have the advantage of this network and with the advent of tracking systems our success rate has increased to approximately 90%. However we still have to recover some vehicles "blindly" due to the failure of tracking systems or the system communi- cations, and yet we still manage to recover around 85% of these vehicles. The past two decades crime in South Africa has rolled over into the transport market and it has had devastating effects on business. Cost in- volved in the prevention of losses has been enormous and the success obtained have made little or no difference in the market place. Our history in crime prevention and recovery of stolen or hijacked vehicles show that we are the leaders in this field and will benefit the eradication of losses to your company. Our knowledge of the "Lay of the Land" or "Our Street Degree" ensures that we can recover a vehicle anywhere in South Africa with the expertise of our recovery crews.
